个人简介

  饶毅教授获 1991 年美国旧金山加州大学神经科学博士,随后 3 年哈佛大学生物化学和分子生物学系博士后。1994 年至2007 年先后任教于美国华盛顿大学和西北大学。1996 年在上海建立共同实验室,1999 年协助推动中国科学院成立上海神经科学研究所,2002 年组建中国科学院上海交叉学科研究中心,2004 年参与建立北京生命科学研究所,2007 年全职回国,出任北京大学生命科学学院院长(2013 年9 月卸任)。2011 年组建北大- 清华生命科学联合中心,并担任创始主任,2012 年组建北大 -IDG/ 麦戈文脑研究所,并担任创始所长 , 2016 年起任北京大学理学部主任,2018 年组建北京脑科学与类脑研究中心,并担任创始主任。

  饶毅教授长期从事神经生物学研究,在发育和行为的分子机理两方面有重要发现。主要贡献包括:

  1. 阐明眼睛发育的起源;

  2. 发现神经导向分子的生物学功能及应用;

  3. 提出和验证体细胞导向与神经元导向共同性新概念;

  4. 揭示神经导向信号转导机理;

  5. 发现神经细胞极性的分子机理;

  6. 揭示争斗行为的神经递质与神经元;

  7. 在分子水平开创研究哺乳类重要社会行为性选择的中枢神经机理。

  目前主要研究方向

  1. 用分子生物学和生物物理成像研究神经环路,

  2. 用新的途径发现神经递质分子;

  3. 用生物化学和遗传学研究动物和人的睡眠机理;

  4. 用果蝇、小鼠、猴、人,研究行为和认知的分子和细胞机制。
